  • Update from the WWF on how our support is making a difference:

We have great news about tigers! The results of the latest tiger census from India are in. Tiger numbers are up by about 520 since the 2010 survey, which means there are now 2,226 tigers in the wild in India.

This wonderful result marks an important milestone towards our goal of doubling tiger numbers by 2022.

So, with your help, we’ll keep fighting to protect tigers from the merciless poachers who are part of an illegal wildlife trade that empties the forests.

But for now, we’ll celebrate this success. Thank you for being part of it!

  • There’s some excellent news to share today. China’s government have released the results of its Fourth National Giant Panda Survey and …

Their population of wild pandas are up by nearly 17 per cent!

According to the survey, the worldwide population of wild giant pandas ‪has increased by 268 over the last decade. The increase in population brings the total number of wild giant pandas to 1,864.

This is a victory for conservation, and a victory for you. Your support helped WWF to lend financial and technical expertise for the survey.

Without your amazing support, we wouldn’t be able to continue to work with partners and the public to establish and protect panda habitat and boost panda numbers.

So, let’s celebrate. It’s a big thank you from us – and from the pandas.
