The ‘onejohnholland’ website was purpose built for John Holland employees with the goal of improving high-performance culture within the company.
The site lists the company’s core vision and values and enables staff to get involved by submitting their own examples of excellence within the workplace: Staff can upload their own photos and videos, and these submissions can then be ‘liked’ as part of a weekly competition.
The website included a comprehensive content management system allowing administrators to manage the staff database and competition entries. Each week the competition would auto-reset and provide admins with a spreadsheet of the results.
This initiative proved extremely successful with over 3,000 staff submissions in the first week alone.
