Myopia Calculator

The Brian Holden Vision Institute’s Myopia calculator was designed and built by Twisted Pear, with my role being lead developer.

The calculator forecasts myopia progression over time, taking into account factors like age, treatment, and ethnicity. It operates using a set of complex ophthalmological algorithms.

We built the calculator using popular JavaScript and charting libraries. It was then imported into their main website as a plugin component.

It has since become a popular resource world-wide, which we have now translated into eight different languages, including Vietnamese, Hebrew, Mandarin, and Japanese.
